Our Combustion Safety & Equipment Overview Course will help you create a safer work environment and help keep you up-to-date with the latest codes, standards and principles for working with fuel-fired equipment. You will leave this workshop with the ability to explain how a gas train functions, identify important components, perform cursory combustion hazard review, ask questions to confirm the current level of combustion safety implementation, identify applicable codes & standards for site systems, explain basic maintenance & troubleshooting concepts.
This workshop will provide the necessary training tools to help you safely operate, troubleshoot, inspect and maintain fuel-fired equipment. Despite state licensing requirements, insurance inspections, and safety codes; danger still exists in your facilities! Many managers and operators don’t even know that they have improperly installed, operated or inappropriately maintained equipment! This course will remedy those issues.

This course provides a more in-depth coverage of combustion safety and equipment than the one day basics course. The first day provides a more detailed review of the fundamentals of combustion and equipment operation. The second day is designed to move beyond the basics and provides the opportunities for the practical application of the knowledge using demonstration units, field examples and troubleshooting tips.
